Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Nom mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of service

Nom is a meal planning application that provides personalized meal plans, shopping lists, and nutrition tracking based on your fitness goals, dietary preferences, and training schedule.

3. Subscription service

Nom offers subscription-based access to premium features:

  • Free Trial: Your first meal plan includes 3 free days (days 1–3).
  • Subscription Plans: Monthly and yearly subscription options are available.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled according to Apple’s refund policy. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.

4. User accounts

To use Nom, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. User content

You retain ownership of any data you provide to Nom, including meal plans, preferences, and usage data. By using the App, you grant Nom a license to use this data to provide and improve our services.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality
  • Share your account with others
  • Use automated systems to access the App

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Nom and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Meal content is provided by third-party content providers.

8. Disclaimers

Nom provides meal planning information for informational purposes only. The App is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Always consult with a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or nutrition plan.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users.

12. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
